‘Destinations’ an exhibition featuring 62 works by Australian Artist John Morrison is now on display at the Hugh Sawrey Art Gallery at the Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame. The Exhibition will run from 3rd May through until the 28th August.
Born in Charters Towers Queensland in 1938 John Morrison has a great interest in the Bush, its history, wildlife and geography. During his career, John has held over 43 solo exhibitions and multiple group exhibitions across Australia and the USA. His work can be found in such public collections as the Department of the Interior, USA; the Queensland Government and multiple City Councils and Rural Shires as well as many corporate and private collections far and wide.
In recent years, John has concentrated on the life and times of Harry Redford, the colourful cattle rustler of Queenslands history.
